Ilmberger carbon Chain guard on the swingarm carbon - Ducati 848 / 1098 / 1198

The chain guard on the swingarm in carbon for Ducati models 848/1098/1198 covers the dangerous area of the chain at the entrance in front of the rear sprocket. This carbon part is not only technically very useful, it also looks very good and completes a supersport motorcycle of the caliber of a Ducati 848/1098/1198.

This product replaces the original part using the original mounting points. The focus is on weight saving (usually saving about 70% compared to the original part) and higher stiffness. The carbon part was manufactured completely from prepreg (see FAQ) material in accordance with the latest guidelines in an autoclave and in the next step, as is customary for us, coated with a clear plastic coating to protect against environmental influences.
This plastic coating surpasses the otherwise usual clear coating in protective effect, scratch resistance and durability enormously. But the coating not only scores technically, it also clearly emphasizes the three-dimensional effect of the carbon structure once again.
